Well we are finally back home. Our power has been out since Friday afternoon due to the storm. We were truly blessed that we did not receive any damage during the storm. Tammy's mom and step dad opened their home to us on Saturday and Sunday nights. It is hard to sleep in a home without electricity especially since you can't run a fan. We can't sleep without our fans. Hudson said last night when we went to bed, "I want to go home." Home will be complete when we finally have Ava sleeping in her crib.
Speaking of our little angel...we received good news last week when we received our final approval from DCFS. We are still awaiting our Travel Approval from China. They seem to be running behind for our agency which naturally concerns us. However, God continues to prove that He is in control of this WHOLE process. Please pray with us that we will travel on June 4th. We all are so ready for Ava to be home.
We are anxiously awaiting the Benefit Concert on Saturday. We are focusing on a night of Praise and Worship. Tammy and I want to set aside a time to truly offer Praise to God for EVERYTHING He has done throughout our journey. I believe God has an amazing evening planned.
