The part I dreaded-watching her leave
Waiting anxiously!We got our first hourly update at a little before noon. They had just started the surgery, but said she did fabulous. They said she kept trying to take the OR staff masks off off. Not sure why the delay, but said she should be done around 4pm. Chris and I will be allowed to go into recovery with her and then follow her up to the PICU. Will update again as we hear more.

Please know how earnestly we're praying. We'll be anxious to hear how she's doing. We're holding your hands from afar!
